Why Article Apps Are Great For Travel + Giveaway

Ever read a great blog article about a city and thought it would come in really useful when you visited? I know I have and while I like to pin articles on Pinterest, it’s no good when you are travel planning on the plane or out and about without WiFi, trying to find the places mentioned. Who wants an expensive phone bill when they get home from overusing mobile data? This is where GPSmyCity and its Article Apps come into play.

I have used Article Apps on my recent city breaks and have found them a huge help. You can search for hundreds of articles written by by travel experts on the free GPSmyCity app (from 750 worldwide cities). Each one has GPS coordinates embedded in them and a selection of articles from yours truly are available. You can download the articles for free and read it offline! No pricey roaming charges – hurrah! What’s really clever is that for a small fee you can upgrade the article and it will guide you to the sights, restaurants, bars listed in the article! How clever is that?

The even better news is that for this week, you can upgrade my article app 36 Hours in Oslo with kids for FREE. A great way to check out the function and app. All you have to do is click here. It will prompt you to download the GPSmycity app if you haven’t already then just click upgrade. If you are planning a trip to Oslo in the near future, make sure you take advantage of this!

Article Apps are a fantastic concept and I love discovering helpful articles and new bloggers through the app. It has come in very handy on my travels so far. If you’ve read one of my city-travel articles and would like to read offline, scroll to the bottom of the article and the link to the GPSmycity Article App will be there otherwise just search on the app itself.

Wander Mum

I've always loved to travel so when my two daughters came along, I didn't stop. Travelling as a family can have its ups and downs but I love showing my children the world and helping others navigate travelling with children in tow.
