Baby-led Weaning: Yoghurt

Has Father Christmas come early?

Mrs T is doing a good impression of him.

Yoghurt isn’t the easiest food for baby-led weaning (when they feed themselves). Today, for breakfast, I basically spoon-fed her a bit. Earlier this week, I bravely gave her free reign of the spoon – which she loved- playing around with it, passing it from one hand to the other and putting both ends of it in her mouth and smudging the yoghurt into her forehead.

It also got all over her hands which she then used to rub her face and eyes thereby ingraining further the build-up of food on her face. Ends up a bit like this. Bless her. She looks very happy though! Now I realise why it is so hard to keep children clean (and they really don’t like having their faces and mouths wiped).

I've always loved to travel so when my two daughters came along, I didn't stop. Travelling as a family can have its ups and downs but I love showing my children the world and helping others navigate travelling with children in tow.
