It is amazing what a bit of sun can do for your mood. This weekend London was blessed with some gorgeous sunshine, lifting everybody’s spirits and giving us a taste of summer. For me, my mood was heightened by finally being able to view the sunny world outside (well my garden anyway) through my NEW kitchen window and door. What a difference a bit of light makes! The kitchen really has come on and my garden even got a bit of tending to after being neglected for most of the year.
In another exciting development, our kitchen table arrived last week. In the end we chose a Neptune one to match the rest of our kitchen and we are really pleased with the result. The oak table extends to almost twice the size for when we have all those dinner parties!
As it was so nice outside Mrs T had her first al fresco meal at our house. I think she rather enjoyed it but I have warned her not to get too used to such luxuries. Looking at the weather today I think it will be a while before she enjoys such dining again in the UK. Good job we are off on our holidays again next week…
