WIN Elmer the Elephant Theatre Tickets And Book

Who doesn’t love David McKee’s famous elephant character, Elmer. The colourful animal has been enjoyed by children (and adults) for the past 30 years while his patchwork image has become an iconic print. Elmer’s antics are a hit in our household. My daughters adore reading about the practical jokes he plays on his friends. To celebrate his 30th anniversary, Elmer the Elephant is going on tour to spread his cheer and optimism in his own theatre show – and I have tickets to give away.

Elmer and his friends are brought to life with 21 puppets in the new stage show. It’s from the creators of the The Very Hungry Caterpillar (which we adored when we saw it a couple of years ago).

Elmer the Patchwork Elephant is a tale which resonates for all ages and celebrates individuality. The elephant stands out – not just because of his colourful skin – but also his sense of humour. Although he feels like he doesn’t belong with the rest of the grey herd, he soon realises that his friends love him for his unique characteristics.

I've always loved to travel so when my two daughters came along, I didn't stop. Travelling as a family can have its ups and downs but I love showing my children the world and helping others navigate travelling with children in tow.
