Mrs T Gets A Haircut: No More Mohawk

To celebrate feeling better and being able to actually get out of bed and outside, Mrs T and I had a trip to the hairdressers – one of many I hope. She had a brilliant time! Was totally entralled as Giorgio, my hairdresser of seven years, cut my hair (sleeping through the boring part when my highlights were being done).

As she gave him an endless stream of smiles, Giorgio seemed smitten!

He is a bit of a character ole Giorgio. His salon, Cosmo, is in Hampton but he originally hails from Cyprus and despite living in the UK for decades, his accent, I suspect, remains as thick as the day he arrived. It doesn’t help that he also talks extra fast and hairdryers are usually blaring in the background… I get the general gist of what he’s saying but more often than not it takes a few repetitions. I really enjoy seeing him and we have a good laugh together – it helps that he is also an excellent hairdresser and colourist AND is reasonably priced.

Anyhoo, Mrs T was treated to a trim and her first hair -which had formed a rather unkept mohican – is no more! Check out the pics below.

Today’s trip – as simple as is was – was something quite special. An indication of life with my gorgeous girl- sharing experiences together as mother and daughter. I can’t wait!

Wander Mum

I've always loved to travel so when my two daughters came along, I didn't stop. Travelling as a family can have its ups and downs but I love showing my children the world and helping others navigate travelling with children in tow.
