New Addition To The Wander Mum Family

I am so proud, delighted and incredibly excited to announce the arrival of a new addition to our family. A gorgeous little girl came into our lives this week and we are feeling very blessed. Her birth wasn’t exactly easy – is it ever? I had to be induced three weeks early after I developed Obstetric Cholestasis, a fairly uncommon condition which affects the liver during pregnancy (I also had it with my first pregnancy). She came out weighing just 6Ibs 5oz but with a full head of shiny dark hair.

Mrs T is taking on her responsibilities as big sister very seriously…promising to share her toys, cooing over the baby and frequently remarking “she’s so cute” and, like us, enjoying staring at this wonderful, fascinating new creation.

One of our main challenges in the weeks and months to come will be adjusting to travelling the world as a family of four rather than three….how much harder can it be? I will, of course, be sharing all my stories and experiences right here on Wander Mum.

Now, without further ado…here’s some pics!

Wander Mum

I've always loved to travel so when my two daughters came along, I didn't stop. Travelling as a family can have its ups and downs but I love showing my children the world and helping others navigate travelling with children in tow.

  1. Congratulations! She is perfect. Travel with two is a lot of fun especially if you master minimal packing techniques. ? Enjoy your first few weeks with your beautiful daughter

    1. I know – so much hair! Its going to be interesting figuring our travel plans out. Good luck for the flight! Keep it exciting and part of the adventure and they will love it I’m sure. x

  2. Congratulations!! She is absolutely beautiful!! My youngest three were all born with jet black hair and over the first year it went white blonde. Enjoy those newborn snuggles! #bestandworst
