My dear, faithful UGG boots,
I know I shoved lovingly placed you and my other winter gear at the back of my wardrobe the other week when the sun was shining, and the weather was so warm I dared to wear summer dresses, and had got used to picnics in the park and the taste of Pimms, but I now realise I was wrong.
I foolishly thought flips flops and ballet pumps could replace you. I stupidly believed my feet would not need your warm, cosy fur again for at least another six months.
I now admit it was a silly and hasty act and I should never have treated you in this way.
Please come and keep my feet comfy and warm again and forgive my reckless behaviour.
