Sunny Play Day: Teething Distraction

Today we managed to get some rays at the park – yay (an improvement on last week). What a beautiful day. Mrs T had her summer attire on, including the essential accessory when getting some al fresco entertainment – a sun hat (from M&S).20130501-191355.jpg

She really enjoyed being outside and hanging out with her little friends (we met up with my antenatal girls). She loves watching other children, ‘talking’ to them and nicking their toys to play with. It certainly took her mind off whatever had been bothering her yesterday.

Turns out it was her teeth again! It was with some relief that I spied her second bottom tooth which had broken through the gum. PHEW. There was a REASON why she had been so grumpy. She is teething. Of course! I feel a lot better now – knowing what was troubling her. As a mum, it is always unnerving when you can’t figure out what is wrong with your child. Thankfully, the mystery has been solved. Unfortunately, I can’t take the pain away for her.

Our afternoon outside in the fresh air and sunshine has clearly worn her out (and me). She was struggling to keep her eyes open after her dinner. Half past six and she was fast asleep (fingers crossed we don’t get an early wake up call tomorrow morning).

Wander Mum

I've always loved to travel so when my two daughters came along, I didn't stop. Travelling as a family can have its ups and downs but I love showing my children the world and helping others navigate travelling with children in tow.
